As Petiole enters its fourth year of growth in Switzerland, Axel joins the firm as it continues to expand its business in the region.

Axel has nearly three decades of experience in the financial industry, including previous roles as Chairman and Co-Founder of American International Bank Acquisition Corp., CEO for Lombard International Assurance (Europe), and CEO at UBS Deutschland AG. Prior to these, he worked at Goldman Sachs for 16 years with his last role as Managing Director for Asset Management (EMEA). Axel holds a master’s degree in Business Administration – International Economics and Finance – from Goethe University.
