Overview

David M. Darst, CFA is the Senior Advisor and Chief Strategist in Petiole Asset Management. He was the founding President of the Morgan Stanley Investment Group, and the founding Chairman of the Morgan Stanley Asset Allocation Committee. Since 2014, he has served as an independent Senior Advisor to and a member of the Morgan Stanley Wealth Management Global Investment Committee. He has authored several publications that have been recognized in various institutions and media within the financial industry.

During their early days of undergraduate teaching together at Yale College, David M. Darst has frequently collaborated with the late David F. Swensen, a great pioneer who played a preeminent role in the growth of Yale’s endowment.
